Corporate Knights Awarded Prestigious Title “Magazine of the Year”
Corporate Knights Magazine’s new look led them to win the coveted title “Magazine of the Year” at the 36th annual Canadian National Magazine Awards.
Corporate Knights Magazine is a quarterly publication and a division of Corporate Knights Inc. The magazine is published quarterly as an insert in the Globe and Mail and Washington Post and digitally. It is one of the world’s largest circulation magazines and provides objective content to professionals and consumers in favor of a humanized marketplace.
The magazine was revamped in 2012 after editor-in-chief Tyler Hamilton was hired in late 2011 to lead the magazine in a new direction alongside the new managing editor, Jeremy Runnalls.
“We improved the look and feel and raised the bar on writing talent. We also expanded into the U.S. market through a unique distribution agreement with the Washington Post and launched a digital version of the magazine that gives us global reach, with more to come in 2013,” said Hamilton.
Prior to this year’s awards, Corporate Knights won three awards in the categories of Illustration and Magazine Covers. Senior Art Director Jack Dylan has changed the look of the magazine attracting top industry illustrators.
Congratulations Corporate Knights!
